In a noteworthy achievement for Dinalupihan Water District (DWD), Department of Health (DOH) and Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) jointly awarded a Certificate of Water Safety Plan Acceptance on September 26, 2022. This prestigious certificate stands as an official recognition of the DWD’s unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety and quality of the water supply for the community.
The Certificate of Water Safety Plan Acceptance was granted to Dinalupihan Water District for its full compliance with the rigorous requirements for acceptability, as outlined in Department of Health Administrative Order No. 2017-0006 entitled “Guidelines for the Review and Approval of Water Safety Plans of Drinking-Water Service Providers.”
Water Safety Plans (WSPs) are comprehensive risk management tools designed to identify and address potential hazards in the water supply. These plans are vital in safeguarding public health and ensuring that residents have access to safe and clean drinking water.
