Dinalupihan Water District (DWD) joined the nationwide campaign to end Violence Against Women and Their Children (VAWC) by participating in a seminar held on November 25, 2025, at the Oval Function Hall in Barangay Kataasan, Dinalupihan, Bataan.
The seminar was led by Dr. Corazon A. David, a respected advocate for women’s rights and an expert on gender-based violence. During the session, Dr. David stressed the importance of awareness, education, and working together to combat the various forms of violence that women face. She also discussed key laws protecting women, practical ways to identify abuse, and how government offices, communities, and individuals can all play a part in prevention.

DWD employees attended the seminar as part of the agency’s commitment to promoting a safe, respectful, and gender-sensitive workplace. The activity also supports the nationwide observance of the 18-Day Campaign to End VAW, reinforcing the call for stronger advocacy and continuous public education.
Dinalupihan Water District remains committed to supporting initiatives that uphold the rights and welfare of women, recognizing that ending violence is a shared responsibility and an essential step toward building a more inclusive and empowered community.
